Amira
Amira means Princess, a name that is very fitting for this adorable little mare. She is an Arabian about 2-3 years old with a petite frame. She is very sweet and loves the kids. She came to the rescue with Sophie Ann. They had been taken in by a good samaritan when their owner could no longer feed them. "They were skin and bones" she said. Thankfully she was able to put some weight on them and had a farrier come out to work on their hooves. She asked the rescue to take them in to find a new permanent home for them. Sophie Ann was adopted right away and now Amira is looking for her forever home. Kelsy, a volunteer at the ranch, has been working on her saddle training and she is doing great. She is very responsive and calm. She will be a very nice little riding mare.
Amira's adoption fee is $600.
