FredFred is a wonderful two year old that my best friend brought to the rescue. She outbid the "kill buyer" at the horse sale. He was a little under weight and very scared. He has a wonderful pedigree that included Peppy San Badger. We could not understand how such a wonderfully bred horse could end up on a truck bound for the Mexican border. Thankfully this was not Fred's fate. He stayed here at our rescue for a few months and learned some ground work. He is very smart and a very fast learner. He was adopted by a wonderful couple and is now learning how wonderful his life can be.
