Savannah
Savannah came to us very heavy bred. She was at the sale barn and I was looking for a horse for my middle daughter in March of 2008. She had such a kind eye and came right up to the girls to be loved on. We took her home and 2 weeks later she blessed us with a buckskin filly, we named her Sierra. Savannah was a wonderful mother and Sierra grew like a weed. After a few months of Shelby riding her it was pretty clear that she was too much horse for her, but Mikayla, my oldest, had fallen in love. So Savannah became her best friend. They are so much alike it amazes me. They will both get an attitude and Mikayla will take off on her across a field and when they come back you can see them both smiling like no other.
Mikayla and Savannah do everything together, sometimes I think if she could sneak her into the house she would sleep with her. They have started to ride playdays and have really come a long way together. We do several trail rides a year and they are always having a great time together. There is nothing that can come close to replacing a little girls first love.
Mikayla has now advanced on to Dakari, a beautiful arabian that needs her as much as she needs him. We have made the difficult decision to find Savannah a new home. She loves children, but is quick. She would fit in best with a pre-teen or teenager. If you would like to come meet this wonderful mare please contact us.
Her adoption fee is $500
