Sue
Sunday March 1st I was working and received an urgent sounding email from a man needing to place a mare. He had sold his two geldings that morning and the mare was going nuts being by herself, he was afraid she would hurt herself. He brought her over at 8pm and she found her self comfortable in our receiving pen. The next morning I got to see her in the light and she is a Bakshir Curly horse. I had never seen one in person, only in books. I did some research and there are only 4000 registered in the world and 1100 in the U.S. She is a very sweet mare, not broke to ride, but very willing, she is about 12 years old and will be looking for a new home very soon. We named her Sue.
Sue is now available. She is a sweet mare that will come right up to you in the field. We had a friend put a saddle on her and she did well. She will need someone to take the time to train her, but she will be a great riding mare and would be beautiful in front of a cart.
Her adoption fee is $300
